Can I discard the medication packaging?

You should keep all packaging until the medication has been finished.

This includes tubs of flower, the packets that cartridges come in and any boxes for oil bottles.

If you have an issue with a medication, you will need the information on the packaging in order to lodge a complaint, as without that information we can not ask the supplier for an outcome.

If the medication needs to be returned to the supplier, legally it needs to be sent with the original packaging and the pharmacy label as proof that it is medication.

In addition, when travelling with your medication, it is a legal requirement that the original packaging be used, with pharmacy labels attached.
